'Matchday':
Matchday is a collection designed to celebrate a lifelong love of football. The prints utilise a combination of photographs and hand rendered imagery creating a dynamic lineup. Bright colours and bold mark-making help to reflect the energetic nature of watching or playing football, with the garment shapes being inspired by the traditional workwear that was historically worn by fans .
Outfit 1:
Outfit 1 consists of an oversized fleece top and straight fit trousers. The dye-sublimated fleece features a high neck, as well as elasticated cuffs and a toggle adjustable hem for added comfort. The trousers are constructed out of a digitally printed cotton drill, with double knee reinforcements as well as exterior pockets. An adjustable built-in belt offers both utility and comfort, with orange topstitching tying the whole piece together.
Outfit 2:
Outfit 2 consists of a jacket, hoodie and trousers. The trousers feature reinforced knees, with a bold placement print all over. A quilted patch adorns the hoodie, as well as the number 13 being stitched onto the back. A contrasting strip runs down the front featuring multiple 13's printed with puff binder. The jacket is made of digitally printed cotton drill, with the offside ruling screen printed on top. It also features a statement lining, made up of a stop motion of someone playing football.
Outfit 3:
Outfit 3 consists of a waterproof coat, shirt and a pair of shorts. The shorts have belt loops to allow for a more comfortable fit, as well as the number '13' being zig-zag stitched to the front and back. The shirt is an oversized fit which features a popper fastening front. The waterproof coat has matching popper fastenings up the front, as well as welt pockets. The lining is a lightweight cotton which features the same print as outfit 2's lining in an alternate colour way.
Outfit 4:
Outfit 4 consists of a poncho, a t-shirt and a pair of joggers. The joggers have adjustable hems and a drawstring waistband. The print is an allover repeat comprised of the number '13'. The t-shirt is a black standard fit, Y.R.N t-shirt with a contrasting yellow screen print. The poncho is reversible with one side being fleece, and the other being sports jersey. Both are made up of the same print, depicting a stop-motion of someone playing football. It also has a high collar and a quarter zip.
